PROTECT YOUR VALUABLE INVESTMENT
We recommend that owners ensure that their investment property has adequate building and public liability insurance. If the property has been your principal place of residence, you will need to inform your Insurance Company that it is no longer owner occupied.
You should also be aware that most “Building Insurance Policies” do not cover you for damage or loss of rent from a defaulting Tenant.
We strongly recommend that you secure a “Landlord Protection Insurance” policy, which should cover the following:
· Loss of Rent
· Malicious Damage
· Accidental Damage
· Fixtures and Fittings
· Building and Public Liability Insurance
